Kerawax is a blended paraffin wax mixture that gives a distinctive finish dependent on the temperature at which it is poured. A hot pour provides a distinctively slick glass-like result, translucent and smooth, while a cool pour gives a cracked effect that is semi-transparent and fros-tlike in finish.

Croydon Candles are handmade in small batches of similar design. No candle is the same as another, each a distinct aesthetic object. We set the designs inside the mould before pouring: designs are not painted on afterwards but more like a glaze in ceramics.
Our candles create sculptural effects as melting wax is displaced and drips when each candle burns - we recommend protecting your furniture from wax spills! Please also make sure to trim your wicks to avoid large flames.
