Croydon Candles is a collaboration between poet Lucy Mercer and artist Jamie Shovlin.

Each candle we make is a distinct aesthetic object ~ no two are the same. Designs are not painted on afterwards but set in the mould and look more like a glaze in ceramics. This unique process gives our candles a special, glossy finish. Each design is limited to a maximum of six variations.

Our candles are individually handmade from 100% pure soy wax ~ vegan friendly.

Croydon Candles create sculptural effects as melting wax is displaced and drips when each candle burns ~ we recommend protecting your furniture from wax spills! Please also make sure to trim your wicks to avoid large flames.
