Soy wax is a vegetable wax derived from soybeans. It burns more slowly than paraffin wax and produces less smoke. It has a naturally bright white finish and is lighter and less dense than paraffin wax and beeswax. Our soy wax candles are vegan friendly.

Croydon Candles are handmade in small batches of similar design. No candle is the same as another, each a distinct aesthetic object. We set the designs inside the mould before pouring: designs are not painted on afterwards but more like a glaze in ceramics.
Our candles create sculptural effects as melting wax is displaced and drips when each candle burns - we recommend protecting your furniture from wax spills! Please also make sure to trim your wicks to avoid large flames.
